What's Your Last Name?
For some reason, there are Germans out there (not all of them!) who only put the first 2 letters of their last name. For example, if someones name was John Smith, their name would be written as "John Sm" on Facebook. So while I was trying to find some people on Facebook, it wasn't so easy...(at first of course, when I didn't know about this "rule" of theirs).
Profile Pictures
Just like how Germans like to recycle their trash, it is also common for them to recycle profile pictures. I don't know if they're trying to get a few more "likes" on their photo, too lazy to take another profile picture, or like their current "set" of photos too much. Either way, I have never seen any American do this. Oh well, it might just be my friends.
But there's one universal thing about Facebook:
Everyone needs to spend less time on it, before it kills our lives. Sometimes it's easier to live behind a computer screen, but we all know it's not the best thing to do...
Also, I think Facebook makes exchange students' lives seem much more fun and relaxing than it actually is. Is it turning into more of Fakebook?
