I feel pretty stressed right now because, like I said, I don't have a host family.
However, every time I feel down, I always have a way to cheer myself up...
-Listen to music
-Go walking around in a pretty place
-Write songs (but I might become even more irked due to my crappy recording equipment)
-Cook (and drown my sorrows in food)
-Read the Bible
-Learn a new language
-Work on my Dream Project
So many people ask me what my "Dream Project" is. Therefore, I figure I'd give a somewhat decent response:
My Dream Project right now (and always will be, until I accomplish it) is to create a completely new paradigm for education. It will be a place where learning comes second nature. By that, I mean that you won't even realize you're learning, because you're having too much fun. It will also be a place where you can go home and say: "I learned how to do something new today," and can apply it right away. I am currently drafting the Grade K curriculum...so for those who are interested, stay tuned.
If there's anyone out there that would like to develop this new curriculum with me, feel free to shoot me an email. Two heads are always better than one!
