She Says I'm Normal Now

That's right. After a talk fight with my mom, I gave in. She told me that girls who don't like to look pretty have something "wrong" with them. I said I didn't want to get my hair straightened after I heard it would take 3 hours. But she still got me to the hairstylist...and I figured, oh well, I'll just read a book while she's straightening.

Didn't happen.

Wash hair, trim hair, apply product, wait for 30 minutes, wash hair, flat iron, product, wait 10 minutes, wash hair, flat iron, etc. Honestly, I can't remember beyond that.

And those three hours of my life resulted in something like this:

Sorry, I'm still not able to stare into a webcam.

But that's besides the point.

The point is that I..honestly can't see any difference between this and my hair before.

I am seriously never doing anything with my hair again. Not to mention the fact that my hair felt like it was on fire for more than an hour.
