Speaking a Dozen Languages

I came across this on Facebook (shared via Mango Languages), and thought it was so cool! I once met this guy at a Borders bookstore, and he LOVED languages. And he did something exactly like this. From him, and this video, I learned that it is almost always worth it to take risks when learning language. After all, if you're scared of making mistakes, you'll go nowhere.

I'll get into my story with the guy at Borders another time (it was actually pretty interesting), but for now, here you go!

I am soooo tempted to do something like this. I'm not even kidding. I really hope I live somewhere in Germany that is close to France, Netherlands, and Belgium just so I can cross a border and speak another language. So. Darn. Cool.
