Decor

I love decor. Home decor, food decor...and the great subset, cake decor! Specifically cupcake decor (my mom refuses to let me do full cake decor, because that means she needs to let me bake those cakes in her huge oven, which she is too lazy to let me use- that means she needs to take the plethora of pans she stores in that oven).

I just ordered Wilton's 12 Piece Tip Set, and will starting my piping adventure in 2 days, when they arrive at my door. I can't wait to start--carrot cupcakes, here I come! I had actually made a carrot cake a few days after my cheesecake, and this is what my brother said:

Your cheesecake was good, but it only rates 8/10. The carrot cake is 10/10!

Well, that's funny, considering I didn't really like that carrot cake. It was too cinnamon-y for me, and it taught me that just like beauty, food is in the "eye" (mouth) of the beholder. I used to care so much about what others thought about my food, but honestly now, I don't care, because I consider myself to be the judge of it. But hey, if others like it and ask for more, I have no reason to hold back what I consider distasteful :)
